In late autumn, nature shifts visibly from the bright hues of the early fall to the darker hues of winter, with the crisp crunch of leaves still fresh beneath our feet. The works in this show were carefully selected for their relevance to the beauty found in rot, deterioration and decline. This can include explorations into nature, biology, grief, and more. The 28 artists in this exhibit come from all across Canada and have each responded to the theme in unique ways - from natural elements like birch, to fiber, photography, and more. This is our second annual show of this theme, and we hope that it makes you reconsider the traditional narrative of rot and destruction and instead to see the beauty of DECAY.
